These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Moroccan Link website, community, initiatives, events, applications, and services, including but not limited to:

Fursa
The Moroccan Voice
The Moroccan Socials
The Moroccan Ventures
Our WhatsApp Community
Our Social Media
Our newsletters, communications, and future initiatives (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing our website, joining our community, creating a profile, attending an event, submitting an application, or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. About The Moroccan Link
The Moroccan Link is an independent community initiative created to connect Moroccans and friends of Morocco through professional networking, meaningful relationships, knowledge sharing, and community-driven opportunities.
At the time of publication of these Terms, The Moroccan Link is not yet incorporated as a legal entity. Should a legal entity be established in the future, these Terms shall automatically apply to that entity as the operator of the Services.
2. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
be at least 18 years old;
provide accurate and truthful information;
comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Certain Services may only be available to approved members of The Moroccan Link community.
Membership is offered at our discretion and may be approved, declined, suspended, or revoked at any time.
3. Membership
Membership of The Moroccan Link is intended to foster a trusted and respectful community.
By becoming a member, you agree to:
provide accurate information;
keep your contact details reasonably up to date;
interact respectfully with other members;
avoid behaviour that harms the community or its members.
Membership does not create any contractual employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship with The Moroccan Link.
4. Fursa
Fursa is the professional networking initiative of The Moroccan Link.
It enables approved members to:
create professional profiles;
discover other professionals;
request introductions;
explore employment, collaboration and business opportunities.
Access to Fursa is limited to approved members of The Moroccan Link.
We reserve the right to:
approve or reject applications;
edit profile formatting where necessary;
suspend or remove profiles;
modify eligibility requirements.
Members may request removal of their Fursa profile at any time by contacting: connect@themoroccanlink.com
5. Professional Introductions
The Moroccan Link facilitates introductions between members solely for networking purposes.
We do not:
guarantee employment;
guarantee business opportunities;
verify every profile;
verify every employer;
verify every opportunity;
verify every service provider.
Members are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any employment, commercial, financial, or personal relationship.
The Moroccan Link shall not be responsible for any dispute, loss, fraud, damages, or claims arising from introductions made through the community.
6. The Moroccan Voice
Applications to speak at The Moroccan Voice are reviewed at our sole discretion.
Submitting an application does not guarantee:
selection;
participation;
future invitations.
We may accept or decline applications without providing a reason.
If selected, speakers agree to cooperate with reasonable event logistics and promotional activities.
7. Community Events
The Moroccan Link organises networking events, dinners, talks, sports activities, outdoor gatherings, and other community experiences.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
participation is voluntary;
you participate at your own risk;
you are responsible for your own health, safety, belongings, and conduct.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward organisers, venues, speakers, volunteers, and fellow attendees.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with our community values.
8. Photography & Video
The Moroccan Link regularly captures photographs, videos, and other recordings during its events.
By attending any event, you acknowledge and agree that:
photographs and videos may include your image, voice, or likeness;
such content may be used for community updates, promotional materials, newsletters, our website, and social media channels;
no compensation is payable for such use.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify a member of our team before or during the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including:
biographies;
profile information;
photographs;
articles;
comments;
applications;
other materials.
By submitting content, you grant The Moroccan Link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and publish such content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Services.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit such content.
10. Community Standards
The Moroccan Link is built on respect, trust, professionalism, and a genuine desire to support one another. By using our Services or participating in our community, you agree to comply with our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.
Our Community Guidelines outline the standards of behaviour expected across all of our Services, including The Moroccan Link, Fursa, The Moroccan Voice, The Moroccan Socials, The Moroccan Ventures, our website, WhatsApp Community, and events.
Failure to comply with the Community Guidelines may result in the suspension or termination of your membership, removal of content, cancellation of event participation, or other appropriate action at our sole discretion.

11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content published by The Moroccan Link, including but not limited to:
logos;
branding;
graphics;
website design;
written content;
event concepts;
photographs owned by us;
is the intellectual property of The Moroccan Link and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
12. Privacy Policy
Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms, including:
WhatsApp;
LinkedIn;
Google;
Tally;
Hostinger;
Baserow;
Microsoft;
other third-party providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, privacy practices, or content of third-party services.
14. Future Paid Services
Certain Services may become paid in the future.
If fees are introduced:
pricing will be clearly communicated;
additional terms may apply;
users will have the opportunity to review such terms before purchasing.
15. Disclaimer
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
While we strive to maintain accurate information and meaningful opportunities, we do not guarantee:
uninterrupted availability;
error-free operation;
accuracy of all user-generated content;
successful networking outcomes;
employment;
investments;
commercial success.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Moroccan Link shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
use of the Services;
participation in events;
networking introductions;
member interactions;
reliance on information published through the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
17. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe that a user has:
violated these Terms;
engaged in unlawful conduct;
harmed the community;
abused our Services.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued before termination.
18. Changes to the Services
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace any Service, feature, initiative, event, or programme at any time.
This includes, without limitation:
Fursa;
The Moroccan Voice;
The Moroccan Socials;
The Moroccan Ventures;
membership programmes;
future products or services.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on our website with an updated Effective Date.
Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
